Are A•MANO sandals really handmade in Capri?
Yes. Every pair of A•MANO sandals is handcrafted in our workshop in Capri, Italy. We use traditional Capri sandal-making techniques combined with a contemporary approach to colours, materials and design. Each pair is made individually rather than mass-produced.
What are A•MANO Capri sandals made from?
Our sandals are made using genuine Italian leather and materials selected for quality, comfort and durability. Our traditional construction includes a layered sole and the artisanal techniques historically used to create Capri sandals.

Are your sandals made to order?
Yes. A•MANO sandals are made to order. Rather than taking a finished pair from stock, your sandals are prepared according to the model, size, colour and options you select.
This allows us to preserve the artisanal nature of traditional Capri sandal-making while offering a more personal product.
How do I choose the right size when ordering online?
Select your usual size and then choose the fit that most closely matches your foot.
A•MANO offers three fit options:
Slim Fit — for narrow feet.
Regular Fit — our standard fit.
Relaxed Fit — for wider feet or those who prefer additional room.
If you have particular fitting requirements, you can also provide us with additional measurements or information when ordering.

Can you make sandals for narrow or wide feet?
Yes. Because our sandals are made to order, we can accommodate different foot shapes more precisely than a conventional ready-to-wear sandal.
Our Slim, Regular and Relaxed options provide a starting point for online orders, while customers visiting our Capri workshop can receive an individual fitting directly on the foot.
Can I customise my Capri sandals?
Many A•MANO designs can be personalised through different combinations of leather, colours and details, depending on the model and available materials.
If you visit us in Capri, the experience can be even more personal: we can fit the sandal directly to your foot and help you create your own combination.

What is the difference between ordering online and visiting A•MANO in Capri?
Online, our three-fit system and additional measurements allow us to create a made-to-order sandal without you being physically present.
In our Capri workshop, however, we can work directly on your foot. This allows us to adjust the placement and fit of the straps individually and create a truly fitted pair of Capri sandals.
If you are visiting the island, you are always welcome to discover the traditional experience in person.
How long does it take to make a pair of A•MANO sandals?
Every pair is individually handcrafted, so production time may vary depending on the model, customisation and time of year.
The estimated production and delivery information available at the time of your order should always be considered before purchasing. Once your sandals are ready, online orders are shipped via UPS.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. A•MANO ships internationally from Capri, Italy, via UPS.
Available destinations, shipping costs and estimated delivery information are shown during checkout. For destinations outside the European Union, local customs duties or import taxes may apply.
Can I return made-to-order sandals?
Because our sandals are individually made to order according to the options selected by the customer, return eligibility depends on the nature of the order and applicable consumer law.

How should I care for handmade leather sandals?
Leather is a natural material and will develop its own character with wear.
Avoid prolonged contact with water, sea water, excessive moisture and direct sources of heat. If your sandals become wet, allow them to dry naturally away from direct heat.
Store them in a dry place and avoid using aggressive cleaning products on leather, velvet or decorative materials.
For particularly delicate materials, contact us before cleaning.
Can I visit the A•MANO workshop in Capri?
Yes. A•MANO is located in the centre of Capri at Via Fuorlovado 28, Capri, Italy.
In store you can choose your model, materials and details and have your sandals individually fitted to your foot.
Do you offer private sandal-making experiences in Capri?
Yes. We offer private A•MANO experiences for guests who would like to discover Capri sandal-making more closely.
Depending on the experience, guests can choose their sandal design, leather, colours and details, receive a personal fitting and discover how their sandals are created by hand.
Private experiences can be arranged for individuals, families and small groups.
Can you create sandal experiences for weddings and private events?
Yes. A•MANO creates bespoke sandal experiences for destination weddings, private celebrations and selected events in Capri and around the world.
Experiences can be tailored to the occasion and may take place in our workshop or at selected locations, including private venues and yachts.
